The Network comprises 30 national experts (27 Member States plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) plus a coordinating team.

All of the experts are academics, drawn mainly from economics, sociology and management but also from other disciplines. All have research expertise in employment, and are committed to advancing equal opportunities for women and men through their research. The Network is coordinated through the Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, Professor Francesca Bettio (University of Siena),  Professor Colette Fagan (University of Manchester) and Professor Janneke Plantenga (Utrecht, NL and Honorary Professor at Manchester).   The other members of the coordinating team are Professor Paola Villa, Professor Annamaria Simonazzi, Dr Mark Smith, Dr Chantal Remery and Dr Alina Verashchagina.
